Going into the 2022 football season, LSU Wire will be looking at each scholarship player listed on the Tigers’ roster.
Over the preseason, each profile will cover where the player is from, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for Brian Kelly this season.
We’re taking a look at the heart and soul of not only the LSU defense but the whole team, Todd Harris Jr. The graduate student will be a sixth-year senior this season with a ton of experience playing at a very high level. The biggest concern for him is not his playing ability, but his ability to stay healthy.

Depth Chart Overview
Even though Harris has a plethora of experience and knowledge of the Tiger defense, he will have some stiff competition to face if he wants to be a starter once again. Brian Kelly hits the transfer portal hard and pulled in some of the best secondary players in the country in Jarrick Bernard, Greg Brooks Jr., Mekhi Garner, and Joe Foucha. LSU has as deep of a secondary as they have had in years. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
